what to do when in point reyes

STAY - we usually just do a day trip from San Fransisco, but it would be a fun place to stay a night or two.

• Palace Market for the best buffalo soft-serve (it’s in the back by the deli).

• Hike:

• Bolinas Ridge (21.9 miles) - it’s an out-and-back trail so can go as far as you want and turn around. It’s on the way to town so a good one to do if you’re going to Hog Island or The Marshall Store for lunch (the other ones are out of the way), and it’s an awesome hike.

• Tomales Point Trail (9.4 miles) - also an out-and-back. Beautiful views and in an elk preserve so you often see elk!

• Laguna Trail + Coast Trail Loop (6 miles).
